Concours is aware of the serious extent to which fraud takes place in our industry.
Our position: Concours will not associate with any person or activity involving fraudulent intentions.
Our position on fraud extends to all parties including insurers, vendors, customers and our own employees. We will never participate in activities commonly referred to as "saving parts, cost shifting, double sheeting, misrepresenting the extent of the damage by deliberate alteration of a collision damaged vehicle, using aftermarket or used parts when OEM parts are being paid for, misrepresenting prior damage as part of a new claim, etc.
If and when we encounter fraud we immediately report it to the appropriate person at the insurance company and if advised to do so, to the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC).
